About Our Saviour's Evangelical Lutheran Church

Our Saviour's is an independent evangelical Lutheran church and a member of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC)

Here at Our Saviour’s we have four basic core beliefs and purposes that direct our church’s ministry.

Worship
We believe that God has redeemed us through the person and work of His Son Jesus Christ and has established His Church for the ultimate purpose of bringing glory and honor to His name in all the earth. Therefore, our purpose as a church is to bring glory and honor to God by engaging people in Christ-centered worship.

Word

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is perfect, authoritative and trustworthy in all matters of Christian doctrine and living. Therefore, our purpose as a church is to bring glory and honor to God by preaching, teaching and living according to the truth of God’s Word.

Community

 We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, a community of believers that exists to build one another up in our Christian faith.  Therefore, our purpose as a church is to bring glory and honor to God by providing a community of believers in which each member is built up in their faith and helps build others up in their faith as well.

Commission
We believe that Christ has called His Church to fulfill the Great Commission. Therefore, our purpose as a church is to bring glory and honor to God by participating in the Great Commission at the community, national and international level.
